Why I’m Here.
This blog is my creative outlet.
No one really prepared. me for the mundaneness of adulthood. They should teach you that in high school. Like along with Algebra and Environmental Science and Political Science, there should be a class called “Adulting” or “Adulthood” and lesson 1 would be that once you reach a certain age, and you’ve done all the things you’re “supposed to do,” there will come a time when you just look at your partner and think Is This IT?
We’re trained from a young age to create goals and work towards them. Each school year I teach elementary students how to set a goal and work towards it. But what happens after you reach your goal? That’s what forty felt like to me. I’ve created all of these goals, and now what? How do you find happiness after all the goals are met.
So after sitting in that discomfort, it dawned on me. No one is coming to make this life more exciting. It is up to me to do things I want to do to keep making this life even more awesome.

What I’ll be sharing here…
I have a slight obsession with magazines, it’s probably a millennial thing. That’s what I envision here. A little bit of everything: thrifty living, cozy life stuff (home and recipes), stories from my life and hopefully joy.
Who is this for?
Me and my mental health (see above, creative outlet). But also to inspire others to cook, DIY, read, get dressed and love the f*ck out of your life.
