Blueberry Smoothie

Equipment

  • Vitamix Blender

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups unsweetened vanilla almond milk
  • 2 scoops chocolate whey protein powder
  • 1/2 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1/4 cup flax or chia seeds
  • 1/4 cup almond butter
  • 4 handfuls spinach
  • 1 cup Ice about 1 cup

Instructions

  • Put ingredients in a blender in the order listed.
  • Blend on high until fully blended.

Notes

I highly recommend using a Vitamix if you are going to commit to making
smoothies several times a week. It is expensive, but worth the investment. I used to make these in a cheap blenders, and when I splurged on the VitamixI had not idea what had been missing out on. The consistency is so much better and makes a huge difference! Plus, the amount of cheap blenders I had to replace likely could have bought one Vitamix earlier on.
